Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully before booking. By securing a session, you agree to the following:

1. Editing & Delivery

• Standard sessions: Photos may take 4–6 weeks for editing.

• Weddings: Editing may take 6–10 weeks.

• Rush fee: R800.

• The photographer will edit images according to their signature style. Requests for heavy changes (e.g., weight/appearance adjustments, major object removals) may incur extra fees.

• RAW/unedited images will not be released.

2. Bookings & Payments

• A 50% deposit (non-refundable) or full payment secures your session.

• Remaining balances must be settled 24 hours before the shoot.

• No cash payments are accepted.

• Failure to pay on time will result in automatic cancellation of your session.

3. Punctuality & Attendance

• Please arrive on time.

• If you are 10 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and your payment forfeited.

• No-shows will not be refunded and must book a new session at full price.

4. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Sessions may be rescheduled up to two times only.

• After this, a new booking with a new payment is required.

• If you cancel completely, your deposit will not be refunded.

5. Social Media & Copyright

• The photographer retains full copyright ownership of all images.

• Clients receive a personal use license only. Photos cannot be sold, edited, or used commercially without written consent.

• Images may be shared by the photographer on social platforms, website, or for portfolio use.

• If you do not wish for your images to be posted, please notify the photographer before your session.

6. Photo Delivery

• Final images will be delivered via a private online download link.

• Links have an expiry date – please download promptly.

• The photographer does not keep long-term backups once the link expires.

7. Travel & Venue Costs

• If your venue is outside the photographer’s service radius, a travel/petrol fee applies.

• Clients are responsible for all venue entrance fees, including photographer access fees.

8. Vouchers

• Vouchers have expiry dates and must be redeemed before they expire.

• Expired vouchers are invalid and non-refundable.

9. Special Sessions

• Hospital newborn sessions: If the baby is admitted to NICU, the session automatically converts into a home newborn session.

• Outdoor sessions are subject to weather conditions. If unsafe, the photographer reserves the right to reschedule.

10. Liability

• The photographer is not liable for:

• Delays due to late arrivals, weather, or technical issues outside their control.

• Any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during the session.

• In case of equipment failure or unforeseen emergencies, the photographer will either reschedule or refund at their discretion.

11. Client Responsibility

• Please ensure children, pets, or family members are supervised at all times during the session.

• Outfits, styling, and props are the client’s responsibility, unless otherwise agreed.

12. General Agreement

• By booking, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
